Griefwords Library Online
Grief does not have an orderly timetable. Often our grief reactions occur when we least expect it, and sometimes when others are sleeping or aren't available. Sometimes we need a quiet space to sort through our experiences and feelings or read about what grief is like. Or maybe we want to reach out to someone else who is grieving and are not sure how.
Our new web-based Griefwords Library is available 24 hours a day to anyone, providing a comprehensive outreach program of articles and book excerpts about grief. These materials are written by internationally noted author and grief education Alan D. Wolfelt, Ph.D. The library includes information on topics such as coping with specific losses (parent, spouse, child, pet); reaching out to others who are grieving; understanding and supporting children and teens as they grieve; funeral planning; and caregiving.
